Trailer Interchange Endorsement (Non-Owned Trailer)
Interstate Insurance Services, Inc. can provide physical damage insurance coverage for trailers, shipping containers, and frames while they’re in your possession under a trailer interchange agreement. Trailer Interchange coverage covers:
- Trailers in your possession under a written Trailer Interchange Agreement
- Your trailers in the possession of others under a Trailer Interchange Agreement
In essence, this is physical damage coverage for non-owned trailers. The coverage can provide insurance coverage for fire, collision, theft explosions or vandalism. If you are hauling trailers that you do not own, you are responsible for paying for damages to the trailer if they occur.
